KRZYSZTOF CZART, PH.D.
An astronomer by education and a populariser of science. The national coordinator of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) with regard to promoting astronomy, a co-author of the Astronarium TV series and an editor of the Urania – Postępy Astronomii magazine and website.
PROFESSOR PIOTR GNACIŃSKI, PH.D.
An astrophysics professor at the University of Gdansk. In his daily work he studies interstellar matter on the basis of observations from the Hubble Space Telescope. In his free time he takes photos of optical and light phenomena in the atmosphere.
BOGDAN JARZYNA
A leading Polish astrophotographer with over 15 years of experience. He organises journeys to Spain and Namibia to observe the sky. He has won two editions of the AstroCamera Competition (2012 and 2013) in the Deep Space Objects category. A member of the AstroCamera Competition Jury since 2014.
WOJTEK KORSAK
A photographer, a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (ZPAF) since 1998. He has photographed the Eiffel Tower for many years and his works have been exhibited on the 1st floor of the tower. The author of numerous individual and group exhibitions abroad, for example in France and the USA. The author of many publications, photo books and guide books.
UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR MACIEJ MIKOŁAJEWSKI, PH.D.
An astronomer by profession, an expert in variable stars, an enthusiast of promoting astronomy in many areas. The editor-in-chief of the Urania – Postępy Astronomii magazine, the originator and author of scripts for a popular science TV series, Astronarium. Long-time vice-president of the Polish Astronomical Society (PTA). A member of the Hevelianum Science Board.
PRZEMYSŁAW RUDŹ
A geographer and climatologist by education. The author of popular science literature on astronomy, astronautics and Earth studies for children and youths. He is employed as a senior specialist at the Education Department of the Polish Space Agency (since 2016). He is responsible for statutory tasks of the Polish Space Agency (PAK) with regard to space education in Poland. A composer and performer of electronic music.
SEBASTIAN SOBERSKI (PTMA)
The Director of the Nicolaus Copernicus Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory in Grudziądz and a radioobserver in the Department of Radioastronomy at the Institute of Astronomy of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. He has studied supernova remnants and the distribution of magnetic fields in our galaxy. A populariser of astronomy. An organiser and co-organiser of astronomy journeys on the path of totality: to Mongolia (1997), Hungary (1999), Zambia (2001), China (2009), Indonesia (2016) and the USA (2017). A co-author of the Voices Of The Cosmos project. The president of the Grudziądz branch of the Polish Society of Astronomy Enthusiasts (PTMA).
